Ugandan reality TV sensation Deborah Nantongo, also known as Mami Deb, is beaming with excitement at the revelation that she will be walking down the aisle later this year with the man of her dreams.
Mami Deb (35) has caught the attention of many through her lifestyle on Uganda’s catchy reality TV show, Kampala Creme. Her beauty, gracefulness, and generosity have made her stand out in the first episodes of the show.
Her lover, only identified as Michael, also features in Kampala Creme and one of the recent episodes reveals how he gifted her with a new GLE Mercedez Benz as a Valentine’s Day gift.
The two have been dating for a while now and their relationship is in a good place with a wedding in the offing.
Having proposed to Mami Deb in the Maldives on her birthday in 2023, Michael is set to put a ring on her finger in a holy matrimonial wedding scheduled for later this year.
Via her Instagram, Mami Deb revealed the good news to her fans. She wrote, “Guess our wedding destination? We are getting MARRIED! 2024 Bride and Groom. I am truly grateful.”

Born in Uganda, Mami Deb spent the last 25 years in the UK, where she pursued a degree in Business with Law at Kingston University. After university, Mami Deb kickstarted her entrepreneurial journey in the UK, demonstrating her prowess as a businesswoman.
However, life took an unexpected turn when she moved to Uganda in pursuit of love, only to return to the UK after a failed relationship.
Fate had other plans for Mami Deb when she met her ‘muzungu’ partner only identified as Michael, who fell deeply in love with Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Determined to savor the richness of the continent, they decided to make Uganda their home.
Michael moved from the UK to Uganda to settle with Deborah. Michael has since invested in her Poultry farm in Uganda. He has also bought her a penthouse in Kololo, all in her name – among several other things.
Mami Deb boasts a couple of business ventures including Boujee – her flourishing clothing store – and poultry farming.
In the pursuit of a fulfilled life, Mami Deb envisions a future filled with love and success alongside her partner, Michael.
