Strong Support For Mr. Calvin Echodu As NRM Delegates From Nebbi, Pakwach, Zombo Districts and Nebbi Municipality Unite Behind His Vision

At a meeting held this Saturday morning at GAF Hotel and Apartments in Nebbi, party delegates from Nebbi Municipality and Nebbi, Pakwach, and Zombo Districts gathered to officially endorse Echodu’s bid, recognizing his leadership qualities and commitment to grassroots development.

This endorsement is a major boost to Echodu’s campaign as he tours the region seeking support. During the meeting, he assured delegates of his plan to strengthen the link between CEC and party structures at the grassroots level, ensuring that local leaders are enganged, empowered and active in party programs. 
During the deliberations, the delegates raised issues of concern to them, key amongst which the fact that leaders at the grassroots are actively pursued during election cycles after which they are forgotten. Echodu assured the delegates that he would address this gap. "We have witnessed this in the Eastern Region. Our current leader in Eastern Region has never held a single meeting with grassroot leaders in the past ten years. This practice must end", he said. He said that he believes in inclusive leadership. "Every voice matters", he said.

He pledged to work closely with the NRM national leadership, especially the Party Chairman H.E President Yoweri Museveni, on the path to achieve middle income status. Echodu also stressed the need to empower young entrepreneurs through capacity building and practical projects that can create real change at the community level.

“The NRM government is committed to the social and economic transformation of its citizens. As party leaders, we must help our youth embrace opportunities that can uplift their communities,” Echodu said.

The endorsement from the Greater Nebbi NRM delegates not only strengthens Echodu’s political profile but also signals growing support for his development-focused agenda. Many believe he is the right candidate to represent the Eastern region and bring greater attention to the needs of West Nile.
