Short hair takes center stage: Uganda’s new trend (PHOTOS)

From pixie cuts to classic bobs, natural low cuts, and bob with bangs, short hairstyles have always delivered a classic look for ladies. They never go out of trend.

In Uganda, a few celebrities seem to have found an addiction to short hairstyles, taking a break from the long hair.

Why short hair?

Rian, the proprietor of Rian Hairz, believes the short hair trend is on again because short hair is “convinient and makes people look younger.”

“They feel like it’s the only way to avoid expenses and heat, maybe,” Rian tells us in a brief chat.

Is short hair easier to maintain?

Rian thinks not. “It’s more expensive and hard to maintain because everytime you need to visit the saloon to maintain it.”

How best to accessorize/style short hair

Rian who has styled many celebrities’ hair advises those who opt for short hair to add a few extensions and colors to achieve a unique look and stand out.
