Shakib comments on Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s marriage

Shakib Lutaaya has addressed the continuous chatter about his marriage with Zari Hassan, particularly the age difference between them.

Shakib made it clear that age isn’t a factor in their love story, saying that maturity is determined by reasoning, not the number of years one has lived.

I don’t give such [talk] my attention because, according to me, someone’s maturity is their reasoning, not the age. There are many men older than me but acting childish.

Zari Hassan, a socialite, is several years older than Shakib, and their marriage has often made netizens give their opinions.

In the same interview, Shakib also shared his thoughts on Diamond Platnumz’s reported nikkah with Zuchu. Diamond, who is Zari’s ex and father to two of her children, allegedly tied the knot recently in a low-key ceremony, news that quickly went viral across East Africa.

However, Shakib downplayed any drama surrounding the situation.

It’s not about jealousy, but people get married all the time. Diamond is my friend, so I’m cool with him. I just didn’t want to give it attention, but I congratulate him.
