Public figures honor Prince Job Paul Kafeero at 18-year memorial mass

Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, a singer-turned-politician, and other renowned public figures gathered to honor the late Prince Job Paul Kafeero in a Memorial Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, in Makindye on Saturday.
The notable figures included King Saha, Mr. Mosh, and Aloysius Matovu Joy, among others. It has been 18 years since the music legend passed.
Paul Kafeero breathed his last at the age of 36 after losing a long battle to Kidney failure complications. He was laid to rest in Nkonkonjeru, Mukono District, at his ancestral home.
He was christened the ‘Golden Boy of Africa’ after winning the gold medal from the Institut d’Etudes Théâtrales at the Cairo Music Festival of 1994.
During the mass, Kafeero was remembered as one of the artists who left a lasting legacy in the Ugandan music industry.
