Okocha leaves NEC for South Sudan new league champions


Rashid Okocha has left Uganda Premier league side NEC after expiry of his contract.
The South Sudan international joins his native side Jamus Sports Club, the newly crowned Premier League champions of the country which they won unbeaten.
Okocha who comfortably plays both as a left back or winger has signed a one-year contract with the side who look to make a mark when they represent the country in the CAF Champions League.
Jamus has also signed former Villa, KCCA and Express centre back Hassan ‘Dazo’ Wasswa, Rwanda international winger Kevin Muhire from Rayon Sport as well Congolese midfielder Josue Manuma Mungwengi.
Jamus won the league after accumulating 68 points winning 21 of their twenty six matches and drawing five.
