NEC lock horns with Mbarara City at Kakyeeka in a must win clash for both sides as they chase different goals for the season.
The hosts, fourth from bottom are just four points from the drop zone and winless in nine matches must earn maximum points to enlighten survival hopes.
For the visitors, a win is a must to trim Vipers’ lead to five points as they try to chase their maiden league title in only their second season in the division.
“We have to win and see what happens in the remaining matches,” said Mbalangu, NEC FC coach.
Elsewhere, Kitara host relegation fighting Wakiso Giants without key players Patrick Kaddu, George Ssenkaaba and former Purple Shark Titus Ssematimba who are suspended.
The Royals are winless in three league matches after drawing with Villa in their last encounter.
URA will host champions SC Villa in a renewal of a mini-rivalry after the tax collectors denied Villa a title in the 2023/24 season, Maroons travel to Mbale while Soltilo Bright Stars host seven-time league winners Express FC at Kavumba.
