More youth talented footballers unearthed during latest Valden Youth Cup editions in Kampala, Eastern region

Since 2021, The Valden Youth Cup football tournament has been played in Kampala and Eastern Uganda.

Over the years, the championship has accommodated different age groups from the ages of 7 to over 18, showcasing a rich history of competitive play and talent promotion.

The 6th edition was played in Kampala; with Gifted Stars Academy winning the B11 category and Wrexham UFC Academy championing the B13 section.

In total, 53 goals were scored with a total number of 243 players were involved, 13 coaches, 11 officials with about 532 fans.

At Luuka, Eastern Uganda’ New Hope Soccer Academy won B12 category and Bulanga Soccer Academy triumphed in the B14 category.

There were 234 goals with 723 players, 42 coaches, 17 officials and 631 fans in attendance.

There are a number of upcoming events lined in Kampala and Eastern Uganda.

Valden Youth Camp Annual Gala Festival (8th Edition – Kampala):

The 8th edition of the Valden Youth Camp Annual Gala festival will take place on 8th December 2024 at Kawaala Good Times primary school for the B9 and B12 categories with registration fees fixed at Ug.Shs 50,000 per age category.

Valden Youth Camp Annual Festival Camp (9th Edition – Eastern):

The 9th Valden Youth Camp Annual festival camp in Eastern region will take place between 12th to 16th December 2024 at Luuka Bulanga Mariam primary school.

This will have four categories in B9, B11, B13 and B16 with Ug.Shs 75,000 per age category.

Valden Youth Camp Annual Festival (9th Edition – Eastern):

Towards the end of the year, there will be the 9th Valden Youth Camp Annual Festival (Eastern region) between 17th to 20th December 2024 at CMS Iganga Boys ground on Walugongo playground.

This will have the women and men open categories with a registration fee of Ug.Shs 75,000 per team.
