City stand-up comedian Maulana Kasozi of the comedy outfit duo “Maulana & Reign” has refuted the notion that says ‘marriage is hard’.
Following his recent imprisonment for failure to take care of his wife and children as accused by his ex-lover Shubira Betty Nalujja, the comedian yet again shared his view about relationships.
Speaking to Bukedde TV’s Josephat Seguya who was pinned for being the catalyst in Maulana’s arrest over family neglect, the comedian disclosed that he has bad blood with the veteran reporter.
He only stressed that marriage is not as hard as people claim but noted that one has to always take a lot of panadol to survive and last in a relationship since it involves its ups and downs.
The comedian further explained that whatever happened happened because of the misunderstandings that couples find in relationships like any other individual outside the limelight.
Since he is a public figure, his situation just was exaggerated to paint a different image of him and he claimed that he is a different person.
He, however, maintained that they are still following the court order and he will meet his ex-lover’s demands as the law requested. He was ordered to foot an annual bill of Shs10m that would cater to the children’s wellbeing.
When Maulana was arrested, social media took the war to Josephat Seguya sending him all kinds of insults and abuse for poking his nose in the comedian’s family saga which he declined being behind the story.
