Lydia Jazmine clears up house rental allegations involving Dan Flavour

Lydia Jazmine has finally spoken out following allegations made by Dan Flavour, who claimed she betrayed him by taking over a house he intended to rent and later reported him to the police for fraud.
In a new interview, Jazmine sought to clarify what really transpired, accusing Dan Flavour of dishonesty and misleading both her and her broker during the property negotiations.
I woke up one day and I was tired of living in an apartment, so I wanted a house. Me and my broker, Hassan, started house hunting and somehow we landed on that house. Hassan told me it was owned by a fellow artist, so the process would even be easier. We went to visit the house.
According to Jazmine, Dan Flavour was unclear and evasive during their initial meetings. Despite her reservations, she attributed his behavior to the usual privacy observed by celebrities.
We sat in my car and I don’t know how, but Dan Flavour convinced my broker that the house was his. He told us he wanted to move to Entebbe and was looking to rent out the house. There were even photos of him and his family inside, making it look like the house belonged to him.
However, Jazmine claimed that all of this was done without the actual knowledge or involvement of the property’s real owner.
I was open from the start. I told him I was looking for a house to buy eventually, not just to rent. The place was in Munyonyo, next to Zari’s, but it was in a messy state, full of animals and disorganized.
Jazmine also revealed that Dan Flavour suggested they renovate the house first and then discuss a potential purchase. Though she declined to disclose the agreed price for buying the house, she did share that she gave him Shs 15 million in cash for renovations.
He was paying Shs 1.5 million monthly in rent and wanted me to take over at about Shs 1.7 million. My intention wasn’t even to stay there long-term, I wanted to eventually buy the property and build apartments on it.
Jazmine dismissed all of Dan Flavour’s claims from a previous interview as false and misleading, confirming that authorities are now involved.
Everything he said is incorrect, and we are looking for him again with the police.
