"Living Free in God’s Image" Pastor Richard Ssemanda’s Message of Hope and Purpose

This Sunday, Pastor Richard Ssemanda returns with a heartfelt and inspiring message to the people of Uganda and beyond. Speaking from Tidori Ministries Uganda, his words are not just for churchgoers they are a gentle but firm reminder to every man, woman, and child about who we truly are and what life is really about.
“God is our Father who cares about us all, and being of His own image children, by His Will we live a free life of nature for the glory of Him God the Creator,” Pastor Richard declares.
At a time when many feel lost in the noise of daily struggles, distractions, and disappointments, this message calls us back to our roots. Pastor Richard reminds us that we are not here by accident. We are created in the image of a loving God, a Father who not only made us but deeply cares about each one of us. As the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
This message carries deep meaning for every Ugandan and every believer. In a world that often pushes us to chase fame, wealth, or power, Pastor Richard brings us back to what really matters: living freely and purposefully in the will of God. According to him, true freedom is not found in doing whatever we want, but in doing what we were created for bringing glory to our Creator.
He explains that the natural way of life the life designed by God is one of peace, truth, and righteousness. “When we walk in His will, we experience the beauty of life as He intended. We find joy not in material things, but in knowing we are loved, guided, and protected by a heavenly Father,” he shared during his Sunday preparations.
As Jesus Himself reminds us in Matthew 10:28–31:
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
These words echo Pastor Richard’s message: we are known, we are valued, and we are never forgotten by our Creator. He knows our needs, our fears, and our future.
This message builds on what Pastor Richard has been preaching for weeks: that Uganda’s greatest need is not more resources, but a return to righteousness and a renewed relationship with God. He has consistently emphasized that revival starts in the heart, and transformation must begin with each individual recognizing their identity in Christ.
The pastor also reminded his congregation of God's gentle provision, quoting from Psalm 23:1–2:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
Through Tidori Ministries Uganda, Pastor Richard continues to reach hearts and homes with messages of spiritual clarity and direction. "Tidori" means "Time to Do Right," and his message this Sunday carries that same heartbeat it’s time to remember who we are, whose we are, and why we are here.
He encourages all Ugandans to step away from fear and confusion and embrace the truth that we are God's children. “No matter your background, status, or struggle God made you in His image, and He longs for you to live in freedom, in His will, and for His glory.”
As the nation gathers once again at Tidori Prayer Chambers and joins online, Pastor Richard’s words will echo with a simple yet life-changing truth: We are God’s children, created to live in His love and reflect His glory.
