KIU Rangers achieved a convincing 76-55 victory against Nabisunsa Girls in the National Basketball League at YMCA Court on Friday.

The Rangers started strong, leading 26-23 at the end of a fast-paced first quarter.

They extended their lead to 15 points (45-31) by the end of the second quarter with a layup from Sharon Kirabo.

Despite a strong effort from the Nabisunsa Girls in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rangers, they still trailed by 11 points (58-47) by the end of the period.

Abifaith Musimenta sealed the game with a three-point jump shot, securing a 21-point victory for the Rangers.

Sharon Kirabo led the Rangers with 26 points, followed by Ines Kanyamuneza with 16 points and Leticia Awor with 11 points, all finishing in double digits.

On the other hand, Abigail Mpoza, Joy Auma, and Martha Yikiru each scored 16, 16, and 11 points, respectively, for the Nabisunsa Girls in their losing effort.
