Kitara will take on Maroons in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Royals Park, Butema on Saturday.

Kitara come into this game having lost two games on a bounce. The Royals fell to Vipers in the Uganda Cup before being edged out by Express in the league.

Speaking to the press, Kitara head coach Wasswa Bbosa is confident that his troops will put an end to the poor run.

“I am confident that we shall beat Maroons FC,” Bbosa confidently said.

“We have prepared well ahead of the game. We suffered two losses on the bounce, which has not been a good account,t so we have to turn the tide,” he added.

“We have not been converting chances so we have prepared to see that we improve our conversion rate. I call upon the fans to rally behind us as we take on Maroons.”

Kitara has been on a decent run at home and the gaffer is confident that it will spur them past Maroons in a highly anticipated affair.

In the last five games, Kitara has won once, drawn twice and lost two games while Maroons has secured two wins, made one draw and lost twice.
