KCCA Leopards secured a well-deserved 75-61 victory against the KIU Rangers in the National Basketball League encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Friday.

The Leopards initially fell behind, trailing 18-14 at the end of the first period. However, they bounced back strongly, taking an eight-point lead (40-32) by halftime.

After the break, the Rangers escalated their efforts but still found themselves trailing by four points.

In the final quarter, the Leopards effectively controlled the game, ultimately securing a 14-point win.

Asinah Kabendela stood out on both ends of the court, registering a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Perus Nyamwenge contributed 20 points, while Susan Aanyu and Margaret Bagaala added 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Sarah Yaweh led with 16 points, followed by Racheal Nanyonga with 15 points, Elizabeth Aguti Akol with 13 points, and Sharon Kirabo with 12 points, all performing well in double digits for the Rangers.
