KCCA Leopards claimed a solid 84-58 victory against Nkumba Lady Marines 84-58 in a National Basketball League encounter held at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Wednesday.

Soigi Martha’s floating jump shot capped off the opening quarter, allowing the KCCA Leopards to establish a 12-point lead at 24-12.

While the Lady Marines showed slight improvement, they still trailed by 10 points at halftime, with a score of 32-42.

After the break, the Leopards intensified their performance, extending their lead to 15 points and controlling the game.

A layup from Sharua Nakirya secured the Leopards’ 26-point victory.

With this win, the Leopards rise to the top of the league standings, holding 26 points, while the Nkumba Lady Marines sit in 11th place with 14 points after the same number of games.
