Karole Kasita hopeful for Tiwa Savage collaboration despite communication hurdles

Karole Kasita has opened up about the delayed music collaboration with Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage, revealing that the project has yet to materialize due to communication challenges.

Speaking during an appearance on Galaxy FM, Karole shared her frustration over the stalled collaboration, saying,

We are on it. We called her yesterday and she didn’t pick. I’m seriously on it and I’m hopeful I’ll make it happen.

The idea of a joint project between the two artists first gained traction in 2022 when Tiwa Savage visited Uganda. During a press conference moderated by comedian Salvado, Tiwa met several Ugandan female artists, including Karole Kasita.

When asked if she would consider a collaboration with a Ugandan artist, Tiwa expressed interest in working with Karole, provided certain conditions were met.

Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the promised collaboration, but it appears the wheels have yet to fully turn.

In addition to Tiwa Savage, Karole hinted at another international opportunity, a potential collaboration with Jamaican dancehall artist Dexta Daps. However, she was more reserved on that subject, stating that she preferred not to speak about it for undisclosed reasons.
