Emmanuel Anyama hungry for more goals

KCCA goal poacher Emmanuel Anyama has been a bright star in Lugogo’s sky as the season neared dawn.

With six goals in the recent four games, Anyama has found full form in the final days of the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League campaign.

“The goals have been flowing and I am feeling really good but it’s just the beginning. I am not satisfied because eI am hungry for more,” Anyama was quoted by the club’s website.

The form has been a big boost in Anyama’s season, though he believes the fight is still alive and they need to only double their efforts as a team.

“We know the second leg against Kataka will not be easy. They are a tough team and every game is always a battle,” he added.

“But we are prepared and focused. Personally, I want to contribute more so that I can help my team reach the final.”

Keeping the eyes on the prize and not getting excited, the forward believes that each game matters and it provides a chance to showcase.

“I do not want to put pressure on myself. At the moment, I am only happy and grateful that I can get some playing time, and I want to use every chance I get to play,” he noted.

“The team comes before everyone else, and for me, it is about the team getting the win first. I am only happy and willing to help every time I get the opportunity to play,” he concluded.
