In an interview with Chimpreports five years ago, Gavin Kizito revealed that his dream was to play for KCCA domestically.

However, he went to play for the Kasasiro rivals SC Villa and even helped them extend their record in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with a 17th trophy.

He fell out with the leadership at Villa Park and has now achieved his childhood dream as he has signed a two-year contract with KCCA.

“I feel so excited and happy to join KCCA FC,” Kizito told the club website. “I have an ambition to help the club win trophies together with my fellow players,” he added.

“I am thankful to the club board, management, and Head Coach for having granted me this opportunity to join KCCA FC, and I will also re-pay their faith in me.”

The 2002 born joins as a proven defender who can play both at right and centre back and is a leader having captained the national U-20 side as well as SC Villa in his so far short career.

He will compete for a place at right back mainly with Haruna Lukwago and versatile Filbert Obenchan.
