Comedian Uncle Mo, who also doubles as an events emcee and engineer, has set his sights on reaching a global audience.
Popularly known for his online skits, he narrates that it is daunting to make Ugandans laugh.
While preparing for his skits, Uncle Mo says he thinks of things he believes would be funny to the audience but sometimes his jokes fall flat due to the problems that people face daily.
It’s challenging to make Ugandans laugh. Some jokes may seem funny, but given the problems we face, they often fall flat. As an entertainer, you have to make choices, and I’m striving to reach a global audience.
Speaking about his relationship with Comedian and media personality Uncle Mark Uganda, he hinted at how they are planning to form a duo.
He further disclosed that they are very good friends with a deep connection regarding the ideas they have about their art.
Uncle Mo also praised Uncle Mark for being a pillar and instrumental in shaping his way of writing skits.
Uncle Mark is a good friend of mine. We share a deep connection regarding our ideas about art. He has been instrumental in shaping my writing and is well-grounded in his faith. The plan is to potentially become duo hosts.
Uncle Mo was born and raised in Kireka, he comes from a family of six. He studied engineering in school and he is now a practicing engineer, a job he is very passionate about.
