Cindy Sanyu glad to work with talented artists again

As the Blu*3 Reunion concert is drawing closer, singer Cindy Sanyu has expressed joy of working with talented musicians again after a very long while.

Speaking at a press conference held today at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel, Cindy Sanyu noted that for the last 15 years she has been struggling and suffering while singing with people who are not talented.

With the Tusker Malt-sponsored concert set for 22nd June, Cindy is delighted that it has come at the right time and she can’t wait to share the stage with people who are passionate about music.

She revealed that when working with Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru she usually does not strain herself compared to the times she hits the studio with other musicians.

Blu*3 we have been together for 15 years, so I want to let them know that in that span I’ve been suffering. So, if I’m to work with someone on a project, I want to work with someone who is talented, we should not delay on a project.

When I sing, they sing too but not this business of me singing and the other person just gambles. Being in that space where all of us can sing makes me feel very happy and deeply excited about it and it is set to happen on 22nd June. Cindy Sanyu

Lilian Mbabazi also added her voice to Cindy’s statements noting that the girl group Blu*3 always searched for talent in a person which was always the first priority.
