2024-2025 FUFA Big League (Match day 26):
Sunday, 25th May 2025 (Kick off is 4 PM for all matches):
- Blacks Power Vs Buhimba United Saints – UTC playground, Lira
- Busoga United Vs Gadaffi – Kyabazinga stadium, Jinja
- Kaaro Karungi Vs Onduparaka – Kyamate stadium, Ntungamo
- Kataka Vs Paidha Black Angels – Mbale city stadium
- Kigezi Home Boyz Vs Calvary – Kabale Municipal stadium
- Arua Hill Vs Ntungasaze – Pece War memorial stadium, Gulu
- Booma Vs MYDA – Masindi municipal stadium
It is the final bend of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League season, and virtually this is time for not accomodating any sort of errors from all the competing clubs.
The top five clubs all have realistic chances to grab the three available slots to the top flight, StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Meanwhile, at the bottom part of the table, it is fierce and aggressive battle against the looming relegation monster.
Seven matches shall be played on Sunday, 25th May 2025 at the different venues across the country during match day 26.
The outcomes from these matches will definitely have an impact on the final journey of the league.
Current table leaders Buhimba United Saints from Kikuube district make the trip to Northern Uganda to face second placed Blacks Power at UTC playground in Lira city.
Buhimba United Saints under coaches Mark Twinamatisko and Paul Nkata have collected 45 points from 24 matches, one match ahead of second placed Blacks Power.
Blacks Power has fetched 42 points from 23 matches played thus far.
This top of the table clash is expected to be epic with both sides expected to raise their A-game performance.
Third on the table Gaddafi (40 points) will visit relegation threathened Busoga United (23 points) at the Kyabazinga stadium, Jinja.
Other fixtures:
In the other fixtures on card; Calvary from Yumbe district in West Nile region makes the long trip to South West of the corner in Kabale to face Kigezi Home Boyz at the Kabale Municipal stadium.
Calvary has earned 40 points from 23 matches and remains within the top four clubs as Kigezi Home Boyz have managed 24 points off 23 games.
Another West Nile based entity Onduparaka is away to Kaaro Karungi at the Kyamate stadium.
Kataka plays host to Paidha Black Angels at the Mbale city stadium whilst Arua Hill entertains Ntungasaze at the Pece War memorial stadium in Gulu city.
Booma squares up against MYDA at Masindi municipal stadium.
Lawrence Kambugu (Ntugasaze) is the current top scorer with 12 goals. Two players; Lawrence Olaboro (Calvary) and Ambrose Kigozi (Kiyinda Boys) have each scored 11 goals apiece.
At the end of the season, three clubs will earn promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and four clubs shall be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
