Azawi’s Instagram activity has netizens questioning

On Instagram, Ugandan singer and songwriter Azawi has unfollowed everyone, including her own music label, Swangz Avenue.

For several weeks now, Azawi has reduced the number of people she follows on social media. On Instagram, she now only follows 6 people.

Among those, only one Ugandan remains: Iryn Namubiru.

Upon learning about the development, netizens have questioned the Slow Dancing singer’s action, with some hinting that she is only doing what other global stars have done for the longest time.

“Her account, her rules,” others highlight as they back her to continue doing as she pleases without seeking validation from the public.

Azawi has always confessed her admiration for Iryn Namubiru’s talent. The other five accounts she continues to follow include other African stars.
