Avoid fights, focus on music – Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga urges artists

Owek Charles Peter Mayiga, the Katikkiro of Buganda Kingdom, weighed in on the recent conflicts and fights that marred the music industry.

While addressing the chaos in the arts industry, he revealed that he had a chat with Pallaso and advised him to avoid fights, stressing that worldwide artists who get involved in such battles don’t last long while in the limelight.

I recently hosted Pallaso, and I advised him to avoid fights and conflicts because worldwide, artists involved in such acts don’t go far. They eventually sink after a short while.

He urged artists that if they want to attain fame and profit from their talents, they have to be very creative and spend much of their time in the studio practicing and trying new music projects.

Owek. Mayiga tipped artists that what markets them is creating good music and not fights, adding that what the public needs from them is talent and good music.

If you want to attain fame and profit from your talent, you have to always be creative. Spend time in the studio as you compose and try out new music projects. A good hit song is the one that sells you and not fights. We want talent.
