Anknown demands payment from Daddy Andre after alleged song scam

Rising singer Anknown has come out claiming that producer and artist Daddy Andre, took his money and disappeared without delivering a promised song.

In an interview on The Deep Talk, Anknown narrated how he painstakingly saved up Shs 1 million, hoping to invest in his budding music career by working with Daddy Andre, an artist he admired.

I met him and we talked. He asked me for the full amount upfront. Normally we deposit 50%, but we gave him the money as requested.

At the time, Daddy Andre was reportedly working at Spice Diana’s studio, 32 Records. This was before Anknown had any breakthrough in the music scene.

However, after handing over the money, things quickly took a wrong turn.

He disappeared like the Bachwezi. When we called him again, the phone was off. I don’t know if he blocked my number, but we kept trying and even went back to 32 studio. They told us that’s not where he works from and that we made a mistake by not asking for a receipt.

Despite feeling cheated, Anknown admitted that his trust in Daddy Andre came from admiration.

I just loved Andre and thought he’s an honest person. I still demand him my song until now.
