Ambrose Byamugisha picks NRM nomination forms to contest MP Ruhinda South County, Mitooma

Ambrose Byamugisha Muhoozi, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Ruhinda South Constituency, Mitooma district has officially picked up nomination forms to run member of parliament for Ruhinda South County, Mitooma district under the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

 Byamugisha Ambrose Muhoozi picked the form from the  NRM Electoral Commission on Thursday, 12^th June 2025.

Ambrose who is also the current Academic Registrar of California River of Life University in charge of East African Region, over the years has been championing various initiatives aimed at developing Ruhinda, including through Ambrosoli Think Tank under his leadership, empowering the local community with financial literacy, leadership training, and various economic development programs.

“I have three key programs—educational, health, and community empowerment—geared towards transforming Ruhinda South into one of Uganda’s leading constituencies,” he stated

Byamugisha who went to Kampala International University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management Sciences with a focus on Development Economics and International Development, is also is an alumnus of Nyakishojwa SSS and Bubangizi SSS in Mitooma District.  

On 13th December 2024, The Ambrosoli Consults a private membership-owned think tank celebrated its achievements during the year 2024, at a glamourous event held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

The ceremony was graced by the Head of delegation of the Nigeria High Commission H.E. Amb. John Shama Shaga was flanked by the group's top leadership and members of the think tank, partners, and stakeholders of Uganda’s growth.

During the celebration to end the year, the think tank also appointed a new Board Chairperson of the team Dr. Daisy Owomugasho to champion the objectives of the think tank.
