Vipers Sports Club booked their berth to the final of the 2024-2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup on Saturday, 17th May 2025.

This followed a 1-0 victory over Kitara at the Butema playground in Hoima city.

Abdul-Karim Watambala scored the all important goal on the evening.

Vipers qualified to the final with a 2-0 aggregate won over the two legs played.

During the first leg played at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende, the Venoms needed a last minute gasp winner from Yunus Sentamu to take the advantage.

The return leg came barely three days after Vipers had faced the same opposition, winning 2-0 on the day to clinch the 2024-2025 Uganda Premier League title, their 7th in history.

Vipers now await the winner of the second semi final between Mbale’s Kataka and KCCA.

The two clubs face off on Sunday at Mbale Stadium.

KCCA has the first leg advantage, having won 3-0 at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
